Abstract: AKARI is an infrared space telescope aimed to carry out all sky survey and additional pointed observations from near to far infrared. Korean astronomers have been actively participating in the AKARI project since 2001. AKARI was launched on February 21, 2006 (UT) and helium boil out occurred in August 2008. Since then only near infrared channel has been used for observations. In this talk, I will summarize recent results mostly by Korean astronomers with AKARI, ranging from solar system, interstellar medium, and external galaxies.
