Using Gaia data release 3, a new stellar streamprobably formed from a dwarf galaxy was detected and dubbedas Yangtze. The stream is about 27 degree long, 1.9 degree wide, and 9.12 kpc away from the sun. By inspecting dynamics and orbits, researchers at NAOC found that Yangtze may have a common progenitor with the Anticenter Stream and a close association with the globular cluster Pal 1.
